Electrical Engineering Activity

This term we didn’t do engineering on  Wednesday so we did engineering on Thusday and we have to plan about our presentation and we have to pick opption to engineering what type off engineering we want to do electrical,civil or environmental and we pick electrical and we write about what is electrical engineering we write what is electrical engineering and type off engineering and what is an pepper circuits and then we we start our planing and then we start doing it on Canva and then we put the Canva link in the printing slide that Zoe gonna print it to us and then we gonna start outing it on the bourd. and then we finish.

Why is  respect Important?

today we are  blogging about why respect is important. Ref will be respected by important people in our lives.Growing up teaches us how to be respectful toward others.Respect means that you accept somebody for who they are, even when they’re different from you or you don’t agree with them.Respect in your relationships builds feelings of trust, safety, and wellbeing. Respect doesn’t have to come naturally – it is something you learn.

What does respect look like?

You feel safe being around each other.You know it’s ok for both of you to express who you are.You don’t yell or talk over the top of each other.When you disagree you listen to each other and be patient. Neither of you is controlling the other person’s choices.You both talk openly about your needs and wants.You both allow the other person space if they need it.You can both admit when you’ve made a mistake.

WHAT IS RESPECT?

Respect is a positive feeling of high regard and admiration for someone or something, or the action of showing deference, consideration, and care towards their needs, feelings, or worth. It involves valuing others’ unique qualities, opinions, and perspectives, even if different from your own, and treating them with consideration and courtesy. Showing respect is fundamental to healthy relationships and societal progress, while a lack of it can lead to negative interactions and environments. 

RESPECT FOR YOUSELF

Self-respect means accepting yourself as you are. It’s not about being perfect – it’s about knowing that you’re deserving of respect simply for being you. Self-respect also means being part of respectful relationships and not putting up with disrespect. Ending a relationship that isn’t respectful is a way of respecting yourself.

I’m being disrespected what can I do?

When you have been disrespectful, you should first apologize sincerely for your behavior, taking responsibility and using “I” statements to explain how your actions affected others without making excuses. Next, examine your intentions to understand the underlying reasons for your behavior. Finally, make amends by taking concrete steps to demonstrate your regret and commitment to better behavior in the future. Sometimes we find ourselves not feeling respected by other people, including our family or friends.While it’s not always possible to change somebody and make them respect you, there are some things you can try.

about water and land (engineering week 3)

KIA ORA

In this week’s engineering, the first thing we did was environmental engineering. The first task in environmental engineering was to carry water across the court in a bucket with a hole. The few rules were that everyone needed to have a turn doing it . and when we play it is really fun I really enjoy doing engineering with my friends.

Our group’s strategy was to cover the hole with our thumbs. We also thought about going slow so the water wouldn’t fall, because the faster we go, gravity makes it gather on one side and makes it fall. I think that our group was pretty good at this, but some people had some amazing ideas. 

The second thing we did was  we had to make ideas on how to make our land safe from drowning and the water rising over, and the only things we could use were clay, tape, sticks, straws, and scissors. and  our land was blue and and we were really excited  when I saw all  the things we had.

and with these things I make a  flag and land and walls and bouts and  when we are making it by  mistake we make a drowning people and  they said do not draw drowning people  and the we fix it mt making one other land it  was fun and As you can see our project. when we making the project.

And then we ended our day with some talking about engineering and watching videos about engineering. Then we left the hall, and that was all we did for this Wednesday’s engineering. If you had to do the bucket challenge, what strategy would you use?

this week we are doing some reading about (The force) and  we read it and  we did some work and this book is about  being brave  harper A name of a  person  how was scared to jump from a bridge he try to jump but he’s legs was shaking and in he’s main Yoda  was person hows saying him you can do it and he said I want to  go to the toilet and he went with yoda and when he  came back Yoda  said you can do this and then harper look back Yoda was not there and then harper jump  and the end  the story is about never  giving up and breing brave we read it first and then we did the quiz about the story and then we  did our vecabulary and then I did my can do work  and in can do it was boost boost is a app were you can do question and answer.and then we read books on epic. that about  my reading

cook weet bit slices (cooking tech)

everyone

yesterday we make weet bit slices and  the was really fun and I learn a lot thing about who we  use oven and how are make it  and my favorite part was to mix the Ingredient and put the icing on and we eat icing and  sprinkles and we have to write a note  about did we have fun the tach or not and what we gonna improve in next class and what skills we use to make it.and last time I was  Sous Chef next time I’am gonna be porter chef  and the challenging thing was nothing ioot was  easy to do cooking and we learn alots of thinks and I learn how to use oven and the rule  and the  safety about kitchen  and I like to be a sous chef all the time when we are making it the icing it was really like a creamy but we put on the hot weet bix slices it start mealting and it looks really satisfying and then we put the sprinkles on and then we give it to the teacher to put it in the oven. and then we finish we wait for to get cold and then we make some  drawing on the box  and then we  finish  and then we come home and then I give  it  to my family.

we make bridge (engineering week 2)

today we did engineering with whaea rooth. and whaea rooth told us to go in your group of 3 or 4 and we are four people in our group and in my group it was me, Aisha, maliha and sthepnie and first we make tower of  jenga and then we make the bridge with cads we make tower but it was not the biggest tower so other team won on the second she give us challenge we have to make a tower on the towel this time again our tower was not the biggest but our tower was second biggest and then she said we are making the bridge with blue cads and then we start making bridge we first we make the mein part thr roud and then we make the structure and the pillars and then we design  and my  favorite part was making tower with Jenga and the part I don’t like was when tower fall and the difficelt part was make the structure and the pillar and which bridge design is your favorite bridge?

I make a presentasion

yesterday I make a presention on canva about Tupou Neiufi swimmer I did it with whea Allen she help me do to this all and she help me in my writing and it was fun I did my all things so she give me  a task to do on canva she said make a perasention for me and show when you done and I was fun I done it I make 7 pages of those .  she said all of those  need  to be  in a ather slide  like  tittle in one slide like that. and I really enjoy it.

3d printing

KIA  ORA!

Yesterday we did 3D printing, and first Zoe told us how to do it, and then she said, Go to the tables and start making the design, and we downloaded it from an app called https://www.vaka.co.nz/taong. You can do this too from this app if you want, but you need a 3D printer for that. I made it for my friends because I can’t give it to my family; they aren’t going to wear it, so that’s why I’m giving it to Charlotte so she can wear it. The pattern was poutama, and the symbol is mere. I feel really good when I make it, and that was fun to do. I want to make more than one, but we can only make one.

Introduction

Today in this report I will be talking about what a atom is, what a molecule is and why are atoms and molecules important

What is an Atom?

An atom is the smallest unit of matter. It is so tiny that you cannot see it with your eyes, even with most microscopes.Atoms have 118 types of Atoms. And Atoms have different part of elements. 

  • Protons (positive charge) 
  • Neutrons (no charge) 
  • Electrons (negative charge) 

Protons and neutrons are found in the middle of the atom, called the nucleus. Electrons move around the outside of the nucleus in areas called shells.

An atom is a small particle that is so tiny you cant even see it with a microscope, it is the basic building block of our world, they make up everything including us today

 

What is a Molecule?

A molecule is made when two or more atoms join together. These atoms can be the same or different. For example:

These atoms can be of the same element, like in the oxygen molecule (O2), or of different elements, like in water (H2O). 

When atoms of different elements combine, the resulting molecule is also called a compound. Molecules are made up of different atoms that join together, they also help with the building blocks of our world.

Why does studying  atoms matter?

Studying atoms matters because atoms are the basic building blocks of all matter—everything you see, touch, and interact with is made up of atoms. Understanding them helps us:

  1. Understand the universe – From stars to your body, everything is made of atoms, so studying them helps us understand how matter behaves on both microscopic and cosmic scales. 
  2. Improve medicine – Techniques like MRI and radiation therapy rely on our understanding of atomic structure and behavior. 

In short, atomic study connects to science, technology, health, and our understanding of the natural world. Would you like a real-world example of how atomic knowledge is used today?

 

Conclusion

Atoms and molecules may be tiny, but they have a huge role in our world. Atoms are the basic units of matter, and when they join together, they form molecules. Atoms are the basic building blocks of matter, consisting of protons, neutrons, and electrons. When atoms bond together, they form molecules, which are the smallest units of compounds that retain the chemical properties of the substance. Understanding atoms and molecules is fundamental to studying chemistry, as they explain the structure, behavior, and interactions of all substances in the universe.

we make bath boom tech

This Monday one tech we make a bath boums and that was fun and my favorite part was  to mix it and my not favorite part is to wrap  them in pepper and I make five of them in one hour our half hour and we share our color with everyone in our tech  class.
